Yep. totally out of stuff. I'm bouncing back and forth between the "Rael goes back to work and Paer goes to the Olympics" story and poking at Embassy and seeing where I need to fill in holes.
Mostly filling in how the Rior and the Black Island Gang become interdiemdional criminals. Any requests?

You did a couple of really fun Eldon short stories. But do we have the story about how he ends up on the run? (I might have missed it.)

And is he running from Disco or from the rest of the gang? Or both?

I have this idea that he did something heroic that got Rior and the rest very annoyed with him.

I think that's part of Canibal World. Elden uses one of the devices from Lodge in the Mountains to blow the Helios to kingdom come, Nighthawk has to close the gate and thinks she's lost Ra'd and Ebsa, but they got through by the skin of their teeth, and Elden hides in an unanchored bubble with his SUV and is presumed dead by Xen, whom he'd told to get out before setting off the device.

I'll second the request for more Eldon, and hopefully less confusion.

One thing I've noticed that the Grantville Gazette has been doing, is re-releasing packages that collect stories that appeared in series in the normal Gazette, which can help a less than complete reader to follow one story. Could you do something like this for Eldon stories, after you get the various complete stories done? (as long as you make it clear the stories are collected from other parts.) That also might be a way of highlighting the personal growth that Eldon goes through.

The last couple fragments about the Oner movie seems to be placed between the time Eldon gets a hold of the bomb, but before using it. It's unclear (at least to me) how much or how many of the Eldon stories take place before getting the bomb or after getting the bomb (except for the one where he sets it off...)

Eldon. Let's see. First he's got Comet Fall and Disco after him.

Then he adds a couple of Earths from the 21st century book (The cops from Embassy are after him, ditto the Houston cops from Castles of Air, ditto the FBI from Lodge).

Then he destroys the Helios world. (Lots of survivors, but they probably don't realize who did it.)

He floats off in a bubble to recuperate and emerges in Nowhere Man. At some point (not yet written) he catches back up with Rior and company. When they refuse to behave on his new home world, he reverse bubbles them, dumps them on Embassy and runs away.

Then he encounters the Cyborgs (story barely started, sorry) and in the end uses the remaining small device on them (not powerful enough to do much more than piss them off) So he's on the run from them in Mall Santa and Saturday Night.

Dragons (Primo?) meet Disco Personal (non Comet Fall)
Would be nice to see how the Dragons would mess the minds of some Oners or Earthers.

Well we have seen the Oners who were convinced that the Dragons who ate the Action Team were hallucations and those who reported correctly were sent to mental health.

Re: Dragons (Primo?) meet Disco Personal (non Comet Fall)
I'm just imagining the following scene:
Mantigo and Chang are in the disco-restaurant.
While waiting to meet Xen they talk about the rumor that there is a guy who can transform in dragon, but can't believe it. Wavelengh listens in while serving in the restaurant.
"So you guys still think it just a mind trick or some hologram?"
"What else could it be? There is no possibility that that stuff could be real."
We aren't so gullible anymore" Chang started to argue.
"No, but for some guys who lived several days as goats, you're pretty much in denial" she said and turned back to the kitchen.
Both of them were so baffled that they first didn't notice that Xen was suddenly sitting beside them.
"Hi, do you guys remember when you joined Disco? When you first met Wavelengh?"
"Yeah, she said something about eating us when we hurt Q again"
"That threat wasn't an empty one, because in reality she is a dragon in disguise"
Xen was smirking while remembering.
"...and it took years to instill her enough not to turn back into one on every other occasion.
"But she can still do it in a blink of an eye."
"What??? So ehm...Q is a dragon too?"
Xen couldn't help but was chuckling now.
"No, no, no. Wavelength is adopted. Q and I are mere human. Or else you would have been in real trouble when you tried to quash that insurgency."

Re: Dragons (Primo?) meet Disco Personal (non Comet Fall)
Picture the first time President Orde invites Xen to a state dinner. Agni attends, and challenges him to prove that he really can morph into a dragon.

"Oh, the dragon is a rather complex genetic change. Now purple bunnies, those are easy . . . "

You know how it will end.

Re: Dragons (Primo?) meet Disco Personal (non Comet Fall)
"Don't try it" said Izzo "It took weeks to get rid of all the purple hairroots. And you can't imagine the amount of teasing I had to endure"
"Hah, that was nothing, compared to all those 'Kiss me' and 'Caution Frog Princess' sticky notes on my back" Jiol chimed in.
"Hey, beeing a pony can be quite handy in some field operations" Fean added.
"I don't know what is more scary" Orde whispered to Paer "That those Fallen Mages can transform themself and anybody on a whim, or that it happens so often, that your colleagues are already used to it?"

I must have missed the "Paer Goes to the Olympics" story. Have you posted it here?

I also would love to see more of Eldon. I forget exactly how I ended up on this site, but I do remember that the first story of yours I checked out was the one that became Mall Santa. It was the references to the wine in those stories that led me to the rest of the series.

I posted the start of it. Right now I'm writing imaginary horse shows, so it may be a :: cough, cough :: bit boring. But I promise to cut it down in the final version.

Since it's handy, I'll snippet it again.
