If you use this image, I think you should emphasize somewhere that the action is taking place somewhere on the part of the globe shown. To date, I had the impression that the major action was taking place in a North America analog.

I like the image, just seemed like the wrong part of the globe.

The action will be taking place on a half dozen worlds, so that doesn't worry me.

Might borrow one of the pictures from continental drift or pangaea descriptions? Showing continents colliding is sort of the last merge in a nutshell (and separation reversed becomes collision, right?)

Guys, it's a stock photo. there's a limit to how much I can change it. Remember, it's an advertisement, not representative of an actual scene in the book.
